Gracias Ortencia!

“There is something surreal when looking at your entire company miniaturized so accurately in their idiosyncrasies. We loved our cake toppers so much we used them in our company Holiday Video.”

“We knew we wanted a cake topper but had a hard time finding one that captured our personalities until we came across Lil’ Cake Toppers. You did a wonderful job capturing our wedding day look. We received many compliments and will have them to treasure our whole lives.” – Tim

“These are the most awesome cake toppers ever! Esther really nailed it with her recreations of us. I can’t wait for everyone to see them! They are such a cool keepsake too and they actually really look like us, just smaller and cuter” -Daniella

“Why would I want some generic figurines on top of my cake when I can have a topper that is WEARING MY FAVORITE SHIRT. I know most cake toppers are your standard tux and wedding dress, but E customized mine, and it couldn’t have been easy to paint a red and black brawny lumberjack flannel. She went above and beyond!” -Paul A.K.A Phor

Ann & Ben
They are the tallest couple ever. Curly, brown-headed Ben is 6 ft 6 1/2 ” and Ann is almost 6 ft tall. That’s mad tall for a Korean girl.

Elisa & Adam
My cousin Elisa got married in Kauai, Hawaii to Adam, who’s half Chinese/half German with an Aussie accent. (But to me, he kinda looks Indian/Persian.) Her wedding was Hawaiian themed, which made her toppers even more unique on top of a three tiered coconut cake!

Laura, Bryan & Ponyo
Their eyes turn into half moon when they smile or laugh. Actually, that’s Bryan’s default facial expression. They recently got a lil pup named Ponyo. Bryan and I decided to do a trade. He’s painting me a Ponyo portrait for this puppy topper to be part of their family!
*Note: Dog not included, meaning I don’t paint animals.

Dohl Girl w/Parents
Traditionally, Koreans CELEBRATE and feast on 100th day (Baek il) and 1st Birthday (Dohl) of a baby. They usually have a pastel-colored rice cake with ‘Happy First Birthday’ written with raisins. Moms usually wear traditional Korean dress. Dads either rock the traditional outfit or a suit.

These are my parents. Yes, they named themselves after famous golfers. When my parents saw that I was painting these as a hobby / wedding gifts, they asked, “Aren’t you going to make us?!” These will be their 34th wedding anniversary gifts.

I didn’t have any Indian couple order, but so wanted to do Indian wedding outfits. This is inspired from the wedding of my one and only Indian friend’s older sister, Paragi.

Annie & James
In summer of 2007, my lil’ bro James, a.k.a. Dumbo (cuz he’s got big ears), got married to a girl named Annie. I wasn’t painting toppers back then, so I decided to gift them a set for their 4th anniversary. Talk about bombdigity sister.

Mom: “How would you do balding head for your uncle?” Me: “Don’t paint balding parts but leave as is which is wood.” Mom: “Can you do one for your uncle and aunt and give him balding, gray hairline?” I was cracking up painting his head the whole time.

Mel & Peter
I was so looking forward to painting Mel in a traditional Chinese outfit. But girl thinks Chinese outfit is prostitute-y so she requested a white wedding gown + 007 Bond tux toppers. The abstract letter ‘B’ stands for his company Barrel, who programmed this lovely site!

Ella, Charlie & Jackson
I wanted to paint some lil happy family sunshine time of joyfulness. Ella LOVES to read magazines and Charlie loves to cook. (Cooking tool icons painted on his back.) He even has a hand collaged cookbook! Their son Jackson is a 2 yr old rocker who’s already showing glimpses of an innate talent in music!
